 would it be possible to have a cancellation state added to the existing state menu, with an email stating the cancellation has been actioned.

Hi a1lux,
customers, Admins and Drivers (if assigned) should receive a notification email that an order has been cancelled.
Are you saying that your customers do not receive those emails?

Please let us know so we can take a closer look.

at the moment i have just deleted job and nothing comes through but ive started to change state to rejected this sends email to all concerned, might be that cancelled is better word than rejected?

Hi a1lux,
yes, you should use the Reject state before you delete an order so all emails are sent as intended.
You may be right that Cancel might be a better word than Reject but this function doubles to actually Reject unwanted orders so it is just a matter of remembering how to use it.
